2013 Japanese Government Scholarship Grants Still Accepting Applicants


THE Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC), Embassy of Japan is still accepting applicants for the 2013 Japanese government scholarship grants in the research, undergraduate, and special training categories.



These categories are available to all Filipino people satisfying the above mentioned requirements. Applications can be found in the JICC Library in Manila, the Consular Offices of Japan in Cebu City and Davao City, or might be downloaded in the Embassy Website: http://www.ph.emb-japan.go.jp/culture/scholarship/index.htm

The selection process consists of document screening, written exams, and interviews. Only selected candidates at each stage is going to be informed for more instructions.

Since 1954, the federal government of Japan makes education in Japanese colleges along with other institutions available to about 3,000 Filipino students.

Free consultation services are held in the library of Japanese embassy every Friday at 9 a.m.12 p.m. and 2-4:30 p.m.

Interested people are asked to bring legitimate ID to enter in the embassy premises. Deadline for submission of applications is on May 28, (Monday).
