The 2013 ASEAN Scholarships for The Philippines is open for application. The Singapore Ministry of Education is pleased to offer ASEAN Scholarships to outstanding students for studies in secondary schools and junior colleges in Singapore, leading to the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (or equivalent). Students who score good grades in the GCE A-Level Examination may continue their undergraduate studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU) or Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) on scholarships or bursaries that the universities administer.
The ASEAN Scholarships aim to provide opportunities to the young people of ASEAN to develop their potential and equip them with skills that will enable them to confidently step into the new millennium.

*Brunei
*Malaysia
*Thailand

Value of Award
*Exemption from school and examination fees
*Annual allowance of S$2,200 approximately P70,000
*Accommodation (board and lodging)
*One return air passage to and from Singapore
*Others – including medical benefits, settling allowance, etc.
Note: There is no bond attached to the scholarship. And only short-listed applicants will be notified.
Who can apply?
*Nationals of the Philippines born between 1996-1998
*Have done consistently well in their school examinations and have completed at least their 2nd year of High School
How to Apply
- Application starts from 2 March 2012 (9am) to 30 April 2012 (10pm)
- Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to apply online at http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/scholarships/asean/.
